History

Mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR) originates from the work of Jon Kabat-Zinn and his colleagues almost 30 years ago at the University of Massachusetts Medical Centre in America. It was originally developed as a programme to enable patients with a wide range of chronic pain and stress related illnesses to take greater control of their lives. Since then it has gained universal recognition for its ability to teach simple life long skills and techniques for effectively managing even the most difficult and enduring events.
